So…
I just got extremely off track and found my dad’s family tree (book)…it was last updated in the late 80s (quite dated but that was the latest edition which my grandpa hunted down in 1990s before he passed away a few years later) but either way…its…VERY interesting…
Traces all the way back almost half a millennium ago.
Apparently I belong to the thirteenth generation and when my grandpa got the book there were already kids of the fifteenth generation…anyways I bet some of my extremely distant relatives are popping out babies of the seventeenth generation by now lol.
Weird to think that if someone was to host a giant family reunion back in the early 90s, distant teenage relatives probably had to call me their great uncle* even if i was just a toddler…
Now? I’m probably a “great great great uncle*” for some twerps…
I feel so old…LOL
The only thing missing’s a coat of arms lol.
*= there’s definitely a translation/cultural difference with regards to whether or not I’m just a cousin (yay i’m not ANCIENT) or I’m actually ANCIENT.

I’ve always had the Biggest man crush on Mike Holmes. Can you blame me? He’s a contractor, he’s handy, good with tools, anything goes wrong, he’d be able to fix it. He’s also strong, loving, caring of his family, all in all, definition of a REAL MAN. *swoon*

Solar eclipse projected through the ‘pinholes’, made by oak leaves, on my shed door.
The tiny gaps between each leaf act as individual pinhole cameras, morphing the shadows of the tree with projections of the obscured sun. Next eclipse, you can witness this yourself, or even replicate it by crossing your fingers over on another in a waffle patter.
Ok. Maybe this one is my favorite.
THAT is actually really really cool. definitely took me awhile to figure what was so special about the picture though
